I had some time today after I got home from work to set down, relax a little and read my daughter, Heather's blog. The photos of her career at McWane Center are amazing. I am so proud of her and her accomplishments. She has grown to be not only a wonderful daughter but a wonderful friend. Again, I am truly blessed!

Josh, Angela and Blakely

Josh, Angela and Blakely are coming to see us this weekend. We have not seen them in a while due to my surgery recovery. Angela is going to bless us with another grandchild in February! We are so excited! You can never have to many grandchildren except at Christmas, and I admit I have a tendency to go overboard! This year with the economy so weak, we will still have gifts, just not as many. We start celebrating the birth of Jesus on December 23rd with a Birthday cake and we do not end celebrating until December 25th. Life is great and I thank God everyday for his blessings.

Josh and Angela got married in Nashville 8/8/08! We are so excited for them. In the Fall we are going to host a celebration party in their Honor. That will be fun!

While I was recovering from hip surgery, Lauren brought the boys to see me. We went to the pond to feed the ducks, which Tyler does everytime he is here! After the ducks could literally eat no more, he wanted to fish. This was Tyler's first time fishing and his first fish! He was so proud. He wanted to take it in the house and cook for lunch! (Little did we know he hadn't had lunch so he was hungry and would have eaten anything!) I talked him into letting me throw it back and so it could grow! We had so much fun. We came inside and made grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch. I wish I had more days like this. It was truly priceless!
